I've went over the DVD and script at least three times and looking for any flaws or mis-information.  I even did a complete maintenance on my Softail and went by the DVD, step by step.  I wasn't trying to be super critical, just making sure that the facts in the script and DVD are correct.  Fix My Hog, you have a winner and should go far with this DVD & Script.  I can only hope that you are going to do the Touring, Dyna and Sportster next.  Everyone did a great Job on this one!!

I received my DVD. Let me first say that I found the DVD VERY informative
and the quality was excellent. In all honesty, I'm not sure I'll be taking my bike apart anytime soon, but at least now I know I can :-) All in all, I'd say you've put together a very fine product and I wish you the best of luck with it. People should purchase the DVD if only to have a better understanding of how these bikes are built and what is required to maintain them.

I do routine maintenance myself, plugs, oil & filter, electrical, etc. I have the shop manual for my bike, but having your DVD to compliment the manual is better. Purchased your Softail DVD.  Easy to watch as you can scroll to the area of interest. Learned a lot and you did a great job. Continue the excellent video of how a particular maintenance item gets done.

I adjusted my clutch as per the DVD...found out the dealer service had misadjusted my clutch! They screwed in the adjusting screw a least 2 turns after getting resistance. I was noticing some slight clutch slip when I accelerated hard...now I know the reason. Dealer service had clutch springs slightly compressed because of wrong clutch adjustment. Adjusted clutch as per DVD, and clutch operation is now as it should have been. I have decided to avoid dealer service unless absolutely necessary, don't have proper tools or lift, etc.

I got the DVD a couple of days ago. It's great. I knew very little about my motorcycle and have been trying to figure stuff out from HTT and the service manual - but seeing things in live video is far better. I just finished changing the primary and tranny fluids yesterday. Forks are next :)

Congratulations on a very well produced, well scripted info DVD. I have viewed it once and about to watch it again and keep watching, till I have this valuable information soaked into my memory. This DVD is worth every cent I paid for it.  I own a 1999 Harley Night Train Evo. To learn more about my bike and keep it in top shape, I visit motorcycle online forums. The site I learned about your web site and thus your wonderful and very helpful DVD is called "Harley Tech Talk". It's one of the MSN groups. For me it pays to be informed and I want to be able to do most of the work on my bike, on my own. Thanks to your great mechanics, I can and will. By the way I do have the service and parts manual. With your show and tell video I can understand my manual a lot easier. I thought this DVD is great! It was very helpful and complete, along with the H-D service manual for torque settings etc., it made me more confident in doing this service. I have a 2003 Fatboy, so the video was perfect. I first heard about your DVD at the Hollister rally, saw the booth, talked a minute, and got the business card with web address. Yes I did get the script. I just wanted to let you know that I watched the tape and began doing most of my 20,000 mile service on my Fatboy. The DVD was fabulous. Along with the HD Service Manual for torque and capacities, the DVD made the service work a breeze. It really is a great idea to watch someone perform the service before you do it yourself. It takes some of the fear away of messing something up. The DVD was a Godsend to me. I will never pay for general maintenance again. The DVD already paid for itself over and over again.

I've owned a number of bikes all my life, built more than one from the ground up, but have never had a Harley.  Now that I do, I'm diving in and  preparing to maintain it as best as possible, by myself.  I'd much rather have good "hands on" instruction rather than trying to figure out the tips and tricks through a book.
