I bought the Sportster 2 DVD Maintenance set. I've enjoyed it so much. It's exactly what I hoped it would be, and more. I'm getting the main thing I'd hoped for, which is step by step, well shot, carefully explained maintenance processes for my bike. And I'm getting the secondary benefit of having you explain the tools, lubes and cleaners, etc., and good mechanic practices as you work. I actually enjoy watching it even when I'm not ready to perform maintenance just to familiarize myself with my bike more and to learn a little bit more about good practices. For the beginner or intermediate I give your product an A+.
By comparison, I also own 2 older Airhead BMW motorcycles. I have a 1975 R60/6 and a 1993 R100R. I recently paid $60 to purchase a DVD from the main company that makes and supports BMW carburetors that teaches you how to rebuild your carbs. Being kind but speaking the truth, my first disappointment was that their video started with the carbs already removed from the bike. I sure would have appreciated seeing how to remove them. Second, the lighting was dim, and often too dark to see the details of what the man was doing. Third, he assumed that the viewer (learner) must already have a pretty comprehensive understanding of the carb rebuild process, because he would often say, "Next you do xyz..." and then you'd see him do 3 or 4 things very quickly in the dim light. Lastly - though I could go on - the rebuild kit came with many small o-rings, seals, and other things that needed to be replaced during the process. The man did not say as he went along what parts you should be careful with and keep, and which ones came in the kit so you could toss them.
About 20 minutes into this video I knew that even if I took it step by step I 'd never be able to perform the rebuild process just by watching the video, which is exactly why I bought it. I'd almost guarantee you that no one who has not rebuilt a (name of company) carb before could do it just by watching this video.
So, in conclusion, thank you so much for the excellent step-by-step explanation during your videos, and the terrific production quality that lets folks see exactly what you're teaching them.
I guess I should go get an additional Harley so I can enjoy a new Fix My Hog video. A Road King maybe?
Thanks Dennis.

I'm a born DIY. Home, Cars, Motorcycle, etc. My dad always taught me if one man knows how to fix it, then another one can learn. I figure in time this DVD will save me hundreds if not thousands in maintenance labor. I've already installed a screaming eagle heavy breather kit, and a pair of V&Hshort shots, derby cover, timer cover, axle covers, etc. Thank You, and keep us rollin.
