This DVD is great. I've saved a ton of cash and enjoy riding my bike more now that I do all my repairs myself. Words can't even discribe how thankful I am. Keep riding!!!
    Reguard,
    Jim.

  2. One of the best "how to" videos I've seen

Posted by Louis – Toms River, NJ on30th Jul 2009

I just received my two disc set of the touring video. Bob does a great job of explaining in great detail and plain language the procedures he is doing. Mark makes the work look easy.

Watching him do the work while he talks through it should make the beginner as well the more experienced do it your selfer more confident working on their bike.
I am very pleased I got this DVD. I'm sure it will help me doing some of the work on my '2001 Road King…

Thank you and your staff for doing such a fine job with all the Fix My Hog videos.

  3. I LOVED IT!!!!

Posted by Dale – Santee, CA on30th Jul 2009

I am an engineer by trade and part of my job is writing internal process sheets for production. I also write internal procedure manuals and interpret aerospace specifications. I thought the context was excellent and Bob's ability to convey the correct message was accurate and to the point, just the way guys like it!! Not a bunch of fluff and wasted motion.

One comment in general - There was only one thing that jumped out at me during this DVD. In the beginning, when showing the tools needed for the job it is mentioned that a 1/4" 12 point deep well socket is needed for replacing the brake disc pads. During the brake maintenance section, this "special" tool was not called out as being necessary nor was it mentioned why. I could SEE that you were using this tool, but I think it is important that this be stated in this section to avoid rounding out the bolt heads holding in the disc pads.

That's about it. Good Job! I'm recommending it to all my friends

  4. The greatest thing since sliced bread.

Posted by Jerry - Long Prairie, MN on30th Jul 2009

You leave nothing to assumption regarding the viewers expertise which I really appreciate; the attention to details is great! I'm convinced that I can do just about everything on the CD and that's a big step for me as I'm no mechanic. Matter of fact, I'm so motivated that I'm looking into courses for motorcycle mechanics at a vocational school 60 miles North of Long Prairie. I'll be retired at the end of June so I will have time to go to school next year when I'm not guiding elk hunters in Colorado. I would like to open my own shop [in my garage and for the tax benefits] once I've taken the cycle mechanics course work this coming year. That’s how much confidence you have instilled in me thanks to your CD. Thanks for the gift that is without a doubt the most precious of all; knowledge!
