Changing to LED

Question for Fix My Hog I was having some Harley Davidson headlight problems and I want to change to a led lamp. Can I just pop off the headlamp bezel or do I have to take the fairing off?

I have purchased an aftermarket H4 LED bulb (for headlight). It came with bulb and module, and poor installation instructions. Need help with the install...any help here? Thanks in advance. BTW, 2016 </strong>HD Heritage Softail Classic.

Did my 2003 Fatboy, headlight plugged in. Passing lights had to change plugs. Did son-in-laws 2004 Fatboy, all just plugged in. Check brands first, some have plugs some need wired.

Whether you have a Windshield or Fairing you should be able to remove your headlight bulb by removing the outer ring and screws. If you are replacing the entire headlight then you would probably need to remove the fairing. If you are just replacing the bulb, some years need an adaptor to connect to the LED plug.
