Clutch and Brake Applied to Start

Question for Fix My Hog All of a sudden I can’t start the engine in any poisition (with the clutch fully disengaged, of course) except Neutral. It didn’t used to be like this, that is, I could start the engine in any gear (clutch depressed). Not only is it a pain to be the last out of the gas station while I try to find neutral, but I’ve seen a couple of situations where safety has been compromised because things were happening around me fast enough that I should be getting out of there (e.g. close call at a stop light, being goaded into clearing the gas pump by the car behind, etc.), fast. I can’t be the only rider who has this problem, can I? What can I do to adjust the ‘what’, idle switch? Thanks for your time.

Fix My Hog Answers You have to have the clutch lever pulled in and brake applied to start in gear on your year/model.

With clutch pulled in, handbrake and foot break applied my 2016 Tri glide will only start in neutral. So far I`ve seen nothing that shows how I can correct that issue. If nothing else can you give me a link to where I can find out how to deal with this. Thanks
