Engine and Cams

Question I have a 2002 Harley Electra Glide. It is my first Harley and I’m restoring it because it was my dads. It has a 88inch in it and the cylinders need to be replaced cause the fins are torn up pretty bad because it was in a accident. What needs to be done to the bike if I put a bore kit in it?

A-orange Do your homework. Choose a set of cams that will fit your riding style. Check out S&S and Andrews. Those are great choices. Read about the cam profiles/characteristics when choosing a cam(s). You will definitely need a tuner to provide enough fuel for this performance upgrade.     I have an 04 FHL. I bought it new and before I took it home we put the 95 inch barrels and SE heads, SE cams and a 6 speed in it. I hit a 14 jack pot at a casino a week before it came in. One hing I have noticed is the cam makes it right. Too much cam and you have to be running 90 mph to keep it in the torque range. I used the Se251 cams. They work great for drag racing but better yet they will pull without down shifting from 70 on up. I also used the Se race tuner. It has about 96k on the odometer and I'm rebuilding the trans. Good luck with your bike but watch and learn about the black art of cams;.

    Can you please help me on putting my new Handel bars on my Harley road King. 2001 tell me where or how to find out how to do this? There are no wire changes I got 12 inch rise plenty of wire. You guys ARE AWESOME!!

    I have a 2004 heritage anniversary softail the speedo and odo not working it dies out and the turn signals are not canceling any help I think it is the speed sensor am I right

    have a 03 fat boy with 103 screaming eagle replaced the oil pump with screaming eagle upgrade. Now it started having oil come out of breather . any ideals on how to fix it Thx

    can you have more video's on mapping ignition? and fuel tank sending unit recalibrate or replacement, gas pump, gas filter replacement please respond back to me so I know my suggestion's were received. Thank You
