How do I install engine guards on my 2014 883 superlow?

Harley Davidson and aftermarket companies offer engine guard assemblies for virtually every year and model. The guards are simple to install but the mounts & brackets differ greatly from model to model. You will need to purchase a kit specific for your year & model and follow the instructions. Not sure about your specific year and model, but when I looked at engine guards for my 1997 1200 XLH, I decided that what looked best and also wasn't the most expensive was the Harley Davidson engine guard. Very easy installation. Only took about 30 minutes and no special tools or abilities. Couldn't be happier. The fit, finish, and quality was what matched the bike. Not sure about aftermarket, but the installation instructions were complete and easy to follow and no special tools were needed. Just wished I hadn't waited 15 years to put one on.
