My 1998 Flhtci Harley fuel pump whines at start up. Do I need to replace it? Bike also shuts down after 10 min. I wait 4 min start back up and runs all day.

Sounds like a failing Harley fuel pump. If it is the original pump, it is probably overdue to be changed. Have the motorcycle’s fuel pressure tested to know for sure.

My 1998 FLHTCU-I had a recall on the ignition switch that would heat up and shut the engine off . After a short cool down it would start and run for different lengths of time before happening again .

I have a 1996 Electra Glide Classic (fuel injected) and need to remove the fuel pump and possibly replace it and the fuel gauge sending unit. Do you have a video that covers this project?
Greg,
Unfortunately, we do not have a fuel pump video for your early EFI system. We suggest that you reference your factory service manual. If you have any specific questions as you move forward, we will do our best to help.
