Harley LED

Q: Hi, I put Harley LED boards in rear blinkers on my 1999 Ultra, but can’t get them to blink, which I’m sure its due to flasher correct?

A: You may need to add a load equalizer, in line, with your rear turn signal wiring harness for those LED’s to function. It would be best to contact the manufacturer of the LED’S. Have them advise you on which load equalizer they suggest. Or purchase a Badlands load equalizer for your make & model. It will be, simple, plug & play.

This may not be related to LED as my issue exists with a regular bulb and LED. I have a 2016 Forty Eight and my right turn signal works fine until I start riding. Then the Signal no longer functions. It appears the brake light works but not the turn signal. What seems to have caused this is I relocated the signals to add saddle bags. The funny thing is, I turn off the bike, take out the key. I immediately put the key back in, turn on the ignition and the signal works. That would make it seem like something is "resetting" when I turn off the ignition and turn it back on. I tried jiggling the wire and even tugging on it a little and there does not seem to be a short.

My rear break light is not working. I purchased a rear brake pressure sendin unit and have not installed it yet. However my front break lever is making the brake light stay on unless the level is manipulated forward. Is there more wrong?
