Hi Samual.

Spokes can eventually break. It is not uncommon. Usually the reason for failure is lack of maintenance. If a spoke is left loose for an extended period of time; it will rub, wear, and then break. The rim end releases into the tire and punctures the tube.

I parked, 2 hours later, rear tire flat. Spoke gone letting all air out. Fast, air loss instantly. Has anyone else heard of this? Or have I been sabotaged? Weird. Some insight would help, only my second Harley. I want to give it to my wife, cuz it’s so slow, but it needs to be safe. Can a spoke completely come out? Or does it need assistance? Thanx
