Love Jugs has now announced the results of an independent test conducted by AMSOIL to determine the oil cooling power of Love Jugs, if any. The bottom line result determined that Love Jugs keeps the oil cooler than any cooling device of any kind – hands down and bar none. Here is the result of their test made at idle, when the V-Twin most needs the air cooling.
1: In slow riding conditions and idle, non air cooling devices contribute little if anything to the cooling process of the engine or the oil.
2: Devices made to cool the oil do just that – they cool hot oil while with Love Jugs the oil never does get hot.
3: Incidental to the oil test, our 100 degree cooler engine claim was verified and exceeded as the front cylinder head was 132 degrees cooler while the rear cylinder clocked in at 145 degrees cooler.

I run love jugs on my 2015 ultra classic, I have notice that after a long ride on a hot summer day in Florida, when riding with a group when we stop stock Harley Davidson without love jugs you hear a loud pinging as the motor is shut off, with love jugs the ping is not there. I will run love jugs on all my bikes. This is the only non factory part on my bike. I fell it will protect my motor for more trouble free miles....
