We would suggest a Progressive fork spring kit. You can add a 1″ spring (supplied in kit) beneath your damper valve to lower one inch.

I have a 2003 sportster and I am going to change the oil would I use reg. oil or synthetic?
Hi Daniel. Regular or synthetic. There is no right or wrong. We always suggest to change oil every 2,500 miles on an air cooled motor, regardless. That, we believe, is of most importance. So if you go with synthetic, it will, obviously, be more costly.

How can I lower my 2012 Custom XL Custom Sportster 1200cc?
Hi Brenda,
Thank you for your patience while I asked the experts, here is the reply:
Burly makes a good lowering kit for your front end. In the rear, we would suggest Progressive shocks.
