Would you know the high output ohms on a 2006 Softail coil. Mine is showing 3000 per side total 6000. Is that a normal reading? I was told it should be over 10000.

From the 2006 Softail electrical manual: EFI models: Primary resistance- 0.3 to 0.5 ohms, Secondary resistance- 2750 to 3250.

I have a 2014 FLHTPI. Surplus cop machine. Took the flashing lights off and placed regular spots and added a tour pack with side marking lights. None of the new lights will come on. ECM I'm told needs to communicate with the new lights. How do they do this and do I need to go to the dealership?
