Do you have any information on how to change the saddlebag lid latch spring? It looks like the end of the rod is welded.

On an older m/c you will be much better off replacing the entire assembly.

I replaced both latch springs on my "02"RoadKing used a little die grinder on the ends bought two replacement springs frm the stealership lightly tapped out the pin replaced the spring and pin applied a dap of jb weld on the end and for just a couple of bucks and a little time good as new a lot cheaper than replacing the whole entire assembly ✌️?
