Top End Gaskets

Question for Fix My Hog Hi, I would like to know if you have a video for the remove of the top gaskets. I have oil coming out of the top of the head and I want to change them.

Not sure what year Sportster you working on, but the gaskets were an issue. Make sure when you purchase replacement gaskets, to get the revised gasket. It’s a larger, one-piece gasket, not the little, two piece gasket that you probably have. Had to replace both on my ‘02 Sportster. If you are replacing the top one, it takes some finesse. It’s close quarters between the head and frame. You will need 3/8 and 1/4 torque wrenches and a couple of hex head wrenches. Get the torque specs and the tightening orders. You have to torque the bolts in the proper order so as to not warp the head.

My 2008 Electra Glide runs like its missing. New plugs, wires and new crank sensor but no change. Running really rich and sounds like only 1 cylinder is firing
