Replaced the battery in my 1993 Sportster and I have a wire that gets hot. This has been an going issue, any ideas?

Would be best to trace this wire as far as you can. If you have a service manual you should be able to figure out what this wire is for and where it terminates. If it is getting hot, there may be a dead short.
