Here she is, my ‘08 Road King Classic. This is my first Harley but I can’t tell you why it took me so long to get one. I’m a year around rider living north of Seattle. Not once in 2 1/2 years has this RK not run like a champ. I love this bike.

’57 straight-leg sidecar rigid frame, ’94 2″o/s FLH wide glide w/21″ wheel, ’77 heads, 93ci S&S Sidewinder Kit in a ’65 Pan bottom, ’69 4 speed ratchet top, Primo 1 1/2″ kick/electric start belt drive, ’94 13 spoke rear mag, GMA dual puck 10″ disc brakes front and rear, early 60’s 5 gal. Fat-bobs, ALL tabs, seats, oil tank, battery box, sissy bar, etc. hand made. Thanks to Woddy at Wildwood Cyl. Just recently read an aticle on your site about a rattle and kinda high pitched whurring noise, so I followed the reply’s (the decent ones)My bike was making the same noise as the posters, the secound thing I looked at was the cam gear Chain Tentioner. It was in pieces. I was ready to ride so I got a 76.00 fix from our local Harley shop, it was not too bad of a job seeing how I never have done it before, needless to say the day I got her fixed, it rained three inches, Thank you all so much for your sharing the important stuff.
