Inspect For Exhaust Leak
Mike RoenInspect your Harley Davidson for a possible exhaust leak at every service interval. After hours of vibration and heat, the exhaust system or an area of the exhaust system may begin to loosen. It is important to catch this early as even a small exhaust leak can adversely impact the running and performance of the motorcycle. A small exhaust leak can be difficult to detect. Even if there is no indication of an exhaust leak, it is still a good idea to put a wrench on the exhaust fastening hardware. If any hardware is not tight, it should be addressed and returned to correct factory torque spec.
Inspect your exhaust system at every service interval to keep your Harley Davidson running smoothly.

Could loose aftermarket slip on's cause the jugs (the larger part right under the spark plug) to get a hairline fracture crack right where the casting lines would be, due to excessive heat? I am new so forgive my lack of proper description lingo, thanks i appreciate it.
