Hi. You will definitely have a noticeable horsepower increase.
Typically riders would prefer a larger motor.
It may not increase the value of your HD, but it certainly will not hurt the value.

I have found using Schaeffers 20w50 V Twin synthetic oil drops the engine temperature down 20 to 30 degrees. Does not break down and stays clean. The best I’ve ever used.

Hi Roch. I can’t say many negative things about Springer front ends as we are big fans.
A Springer that is set up correctly will give you a smooth & stable ride.
Neck bearings take a harder beating but if correct neck adjustment is maintained, bearings will last a long time.
If you pick up a used Springer front end, suggest rebuilding before installation.

I love the look but can you give me the pros and cons of the Springer Front End? I read one big con is the “pogo” effect at highway speeds. I am not interested in extending the rake, just same stock angle and length. Thanks

I recently bought a Sportster and have never owned an HD. I’m learning as I go and am open to suggestions on how to maintain my HD. Thanks

You can add a little more sound with slip on mufflers.
If you add aftermarket mufflers and leave your stock air intake, you should be fine without having to adjust your tuning.
Remember, these Harleys are de-tuned and lean, “out of the box”.
Any changes you make to the intake or exhaust will make for an even leaner condition.
You can not remove your stock baffles without damaging the muffler.

I want to know how to make it louder without replacing the whole system. Can I remove the baffles without messing up the computer setting for the fuel mixture?
