Hi Rick. When flushing & replenishing brake fluid, you can either push fluid from the caliper to the master, or draw fluid from the master to the caliper. Both ways are correct. Usually depends on which tool is available to you.
When bleeding, you should bleed at the master 1st, then work your way back to the caliper. It is not typically nesscary to bleed at every union, but bleeding at the master is always a good idea.
