I was told by a tire man, the cupping is caused by low tire pressure. I check my front once a week.
I have a 04 Fatboy the gas is getting into the crank case It starts and gas and oil pours out of the carb. Bike is stock 88 ci fuel injection
I had the same problem with the same bike, especially with such a thin front tire. Next time you buy a tire, get Michelin Commander II tires. You'll notice right away this is a better tire than the original Dunlaps. Made a big difference to mine; cost a little more but worth every penny.
