In this GOLD Member video, Steve Knoble finishes the reassembly of the S&S T124 engine. He covers the reassembly tips and tricks in detail, and gives an up-close look at how the engine goes together and how the engine works.

First, Steve recompresses the rings and installs the pistons in the cylinders. This is handy information for installing a “big Bore” kit. Next, the push rod tubes are installed, and the heads get put in place. Finally, Steve reassembles the rockers inside the heads, and closes up the rocker boxes. Throughout the video, Steve covers the torque specs and torque patterns for engine assembly. This is crucial to having a properly functioning engine with a long life.

This video is part of a two-part series that covers the disassembly of the engine, how the engine works, and the entire engine building process. Be sure and check out part one, and all the other great GOLD Member videos that Fix My hog has to offer.
