Factory Grips

Q: On a 2008 SG is there a trick to changing out the factory grips? I have put new grips on used the manual step by step but it keeps stalling and losing power, if I smack the end of the grip it gives me my throttle back. This cannot be that hard to do what am I missing?

A: You, most likely, pinched the right side switch housing wiring harness.

Reply: Thanks you were right I pinched it

Can a drive belt on a 1994 fxdwg be replaced without removing the rear wheel and swing arm by simply removing the shock absorber lower bolt and pushing the rear wheel forward to obtain the slack needed to remove it from the rear and front sprockets?

I have an 03 883 sportser that will only idle with the enricher out a1/4” fully warmed up. The carb was cleaned and serviced by a Harley mechanic right before I purchased it. It just now has 1055 miles on it. It had 710 when purchased. I have run sea foam and several tanks of fuel through it, and it still has to ne out that much to idle. Will occasionally sneeze back through the carb when taking off from a stop. Was wondering if it os a possible vacuum leak. Thanks for any help you can give me in advance.
