You might be used to adjusting your Harley-Davidson® Sportster® or big twin clutch but mileage and riding style can demand further work. Sometimes your clutch will stick and a thorough cleaning of the plates is all that you will need to do. Sometimes the plates are worn past wear limits and you’ll have to replace them. You can replace with stock or if you have the funds step it up with a Barnett Scorpion performance clutch install.
In Part 1, our master mechanics walk you step by step through the removal and replacement of your Sportster clutch.
In Part 2, our master mechanics walk you step by step through the removal and replacement of your Twin Cam outer and inner primary to upgrade to chrome. While they are in there they upgrade the Twin Cam clutch.
