Lubing Pivot Points

Question for Fix My Hog I would like to know what lube you used for pivot points that’s in the spray can and also what type of anti seize for the spark plugs. Also, what to lubricate clutch cable with please and do I need to adjust clutch pack at every service? Thank you!

Fix My Hog Answers

We use a quality penetrating Lube and Loctite anti-seize. No, it is not necessary to adjust the clutch pack at every service. Adjust at every major service, or whenever you change your primary fluid and are already in that area.

While changing the trans fluid on my 2007 FLHTCU I noticed the owners manual say’s it takes 32oz’s but the shop manual say’s 24oz’s. The shop manual say’s the 2006 takes 32oz’s but the 2007 takes 24oz’s. The last change I put 32oz’s in and it was over full. So what is the difference from ’06 to ’07?
