Harley LED
A: You may need to add a load equalizer, in line, with your rear turn signal wiring harness for those LED’s to function. It would be best to contact the manufacturer of the LED’S. Have them advise you on which load equalizer they suggest. Or purchase a Badlands load equalizer for your make & model. It will be, simple, plug & play.

My rear break light is not working. I purchased a rear brake pressure sendin unit and have not installed it yet. However my front break lever is making the brake light stay on unless the level is manipulated forward. Is there more wrong?
Hi, William. We would be happy to assist you; we just need some more information. What is the make/model/year of your motorcycle?
There is a switch inside the brake lever/switch assembly must be seated correctly for it to work. The switch assembly housing needs to sit all the way against the bracket that clamps to the handle bars.
What is the correct setting for the air/ fuel mixture on a S&S super E carb
Hi, Chris. There is no definitive, set mixture setting for any bikes. Your settings depend on your motor, exhaust, and jetting. S&S instructions are very specific and easy to follow. You can look up S&S E instructions online.
how do you go about finding a short in your elect. system?
Hi, John! Please provide us with the year and model of your bike.
I changed out rear turn signal blub to digital lites no problem….but then changed out front signal to digital…as a result the turn signal starts out fine, but then starts flashing real fast….what’s my problem….thanks…
Hi, Roy! What is the year and model of your bike?
Where is the emergency flasher and fuse box on 99 fatboy
Dear Richard,
Thank you for your patience. In response to your question-
Fuse box is beneath the seat, behind the battery. There is not a 4 way flasher switch.

where do I install a load equalizer for my front turn signals?
I have a 2003 Fat Boy. Installed LED blinkers and they both blink no matter which one I turn on.
Hi Carole. If triggered voltage is bridging across, both, left & right side turn signals, either something is wired incorrectly or voltage is somehow back feeding.
You will need to retrace your steps.
Thanks
Mark-FMH
Hi Carole. Typically, a load equalizer will be installed just before the plug for your rear fender.
Blue & orange wires = constant 12 volts
Black = ground
Brown = right turn signal
Purple = left turn signal

This may not be related to LED as my issue exists with a regular bulb and LED. I have a 2016 Forty Eight and my right turn signal works fine until I start riding. Then the Signal no longer functions. It appears the brake light works but not the turn signal. What seems to have caused this is I relocated the signals to add saddle bags. The funny thing is, I turn off the bike, take out the key. I immediately put the key back in, turn on the ignition and the signal works. That would make it seem like something is “resetting” when I turn off the ignition and turn it back on. I tried jiggling the wire and even tugging on it a little and there does not seem to be a short.
Bill,
Unfortunately, if the issue did not exist before relocating the signals, it is likely a bad connection, a short, or incorrect wiring.
You can try checking for possible stored diagnostic trouble codes that may help steer you in the right direction.
However, we suggest that you backtrack and retrace your work.
